Teacher resources
As a media specialist, our roles include:
1. Instructional Partner: Where we collaborate with you, the classroom teachers and staff, to assist in designing, co-teaching, and assessing projects that integrate college and career ready standards, technology, research, and information literacy to increase student learning.
2. Information Specialist: Where we use and model databases and other technology as resources, use technology to create engaging lessons, and teach students to use technology and information ethically through education in copyright and plagiarism laws.
3. Teacher: Where we teach students to think critically, read widely, develop research skills, and use information appropriately. As the library media specialist, we teach every student in the school once a week.
